We seek to flesh out the incentives and challenges encountered by publishers and producers of learning resources and to map out the laws and regulations that govern the procurement and distribution of learning resources. The goal is to ensure that every learner
and teacher can access quality and relevant resources that will help improve their teaching and learning experiences, and thus result in improved learning outcomes.
This consultation is OPEN until December 15, 2023.
Priority Area #6 : Measurement of Learning Outcomes
We seek to identify the specific barriers to establishing and maintaining an effective system of assessments in the basic education system of the country. The goal is to develop and institutionalize an assessment system that will improve evidence-based decision-making, enhance accountability, increase efficiency, and ultimately lead to improved learning outcomes for Filipino learners.

Priority Area #7 : Curriculum and Instruction
We seek to review whether the proposed new curriculum has refined and reduced the amount of content across the learning areas to
focus on essential content or core concepts, proposed an appropriate language of instruction policy, and suggested pedagogical approaches that encourage flexibility and innovation.

Teacher Education and Development
Priority Area #16 : Alignment of CHED, PRC, DepEd (including Teacher Education Council) NEW!
We seek to identify the alignment issues and challenges of the agencies implementing teacher education and development. To put things into context, PRC handles the professionalization of incoming teachers by conducting the Board Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (BLEPT). CHED supervises Teacher Education Institutions (TEIs) and Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) where BLEPT applicants come from. Lastly, DepEd hires and deploys the BLEPT passers who want to pursue their teaching career in the public school system.
